Men, even though you might have the best intentions, you know there may have been a couple of times when you have struck out when it came to getting wonderful, memorable anniversary gifts.

• Jewelry –? Can you buy jewelry? You betcha. Should you buy jewelry? You betcha? Buying jewelry is perhaps the very best item a woman can receive. It makes her feel adored and loved. The price is not always as important as the thought behind the choice of jewelry.
• Chocolates – Buying chocolates is another time-honored tradition that is sure to be a hit on your anniversary. Even though it is very common, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
• Flowers – Of course you should buy your sweetheart flowers on your anniversary. And, if you really want to impress her, you may want to do more than just get here roses. Throughout the year listen as she talks about what kinds of flowers she likes. When the anniversary comes around, you will be able to give to her a bouquet of all her favorite flowers.CANNOT
• Exercise equipment – Never ever ever buy a woman exercise equipment for your anniversary. Even if she says she wants it, do not buy this. Your anniversary is a day when women want to feel loved and pampered, regardless of their current physique. Do not ruin the special day by giving her anything that would make her feel inferior or criticized (even if she’s been hinting at something of that nature).
• Vacuum cleaner – If she has been hinting that she wants a new vacuum cleaner. You can be pretty confident in the fact that she has not been hinting that she wants it to be given to her on the most romantic day of the year. Nothing can kill a potential romantic evening faster than a vacuum cleaner.
• Dishes – Even if your loved one is a dynamo in the kitchen, you shouldn’t buy her dishes. It is just another one of those gifts that makes her feel more like a servant and less like the partner in life with whom you are deeply and madly in love.By knowing which anniversary gifts are appropriate and which are not, you will be well able to take care of the needs of your sweetheart.
